Whirlpool Gold 25.5 cu ft French Door Refrigerator @ LOWES - $1,349.10 (YMMV)

my wife wants one with the 4th door. The only one i've found close to that price is this one [lowes.com] for $1691 , or less tih coupon...about to buy, but I was looking for black because of the other appliances but there's no black for this one

I have a 4 door samsung fridge bought last year. Imo, the 4th door is almost worthless unless you have toddlers who use it for juiceboxes and thats pretty much it. It was on sale so cheaper than a 3 door when I bought it but if prices were the same i'd get a 3 door for better storage.

It was this one. Think it was abour $2200 then we used the mover's coupon which took care of sales tax. Only complaint is the ice-maker is loud and sometimes in the middle of the night you'd hear an ice cube drop in the machine.

ya, that's the one we wanted, but it's a few hundred more expensive than the whirlpool one i linked, though the Samsung does have black and it's the one my wife originally liked...i with I could find it cheaper...I have, but only from sears outlet

Our previous fridge was a Hotpoint brand and lasted 20years - damn thing was built like a tank and still running fine but we remodeled the kitchen and had to get all new appliances. If you have a Fry's near you, I remember seeing the exact fridge months after I bought mines for $1600-$1800 i think (check old slickdeals threads to see the exact price). One thing I like about Lowes is their 5yr warranty for 2 appliances is $180 where as Sears is like $350+ for 1 appliance.

This is a nice refrigerator - we've been using it for the past two months. Keep in mind that it is stainless-LOOK - not stainless. It won't be nearly as shiny or reflective as the rest of a stainless steel kitchen. It is basically a metallic gray color. Most visitors to your home won't even notice the difference, and it attracts far fewer fingerprints.

This is a good price. We had been hunting for months, and paid around $1100 + tax (after mover's coupon).

Bought this one about a month ago. Loving it. We use the 4th drawer for beer cans until the wife decides to make a full sheet cake, which WILL fit in the 4th door with a few inches on each side.
