I'm one year of work experience shy of having my CPA license and I just graduated with a masters degree. But hey, one tattoo makes up my whole character!

Like I said, we all have our opinions. I have the ability to hire and fire people where I work (20K plus employees). No one looks like you (except the people who pick up trash and they are contracted) at our company. Coincidence? maybe.

I'm not a person who regrets anything so yeah...pretty sure I know...they're a part of me and will be a part of who I was...but I guess not everyone is as sure of themselves as I am or willing to love and accept the mistakes they've made as part of making them who they are.

Oh I know that...discrimination happens all the time and people hide it by saying other things that aren't the thing they have the real problem with...

I guess I just don't get why people have such a problem with them...no one tells them they need to get them...people just want to be accepted...but I guess people need to find things to dislike about other people...

unfortunately it is not illegal to not hire someone based on tattoos.

That's cool and I agree it is technically illegal to discriminate. but if the person doesn't fit in and could be disruptive to the team, that's not discriminating, that's just good hiring practice.

Just out of curiosity, how many upper management types have you seen in annual reports with tattoos and piercing everywhere? about the most you'll see is a goatee (including on some of the women)
