Again this isnt the best tablet but its solid, my only real issue was the battery. For a light user this thing could be your best friend. For a heavy user this could work but you will always have to keep track of your battery. |

was that pre or post the ICS update? Curious.
I can imagine gaming while using a bluetooth controller would kill a battery quickly, but if you're already starting on the short side of things, it's probably not a good combo. At least you're not the norm, or should I say the majority of users probably aren't going to that extent to game on their tablets, though going through the forums there are a few that game heavily on them. Originally I wanted the memo but just decided to settle for the Nexus because their is no real timeframe if the Memo does come out. What ever you do dont get the Galaxy Tab 2, thats basically a step back when compared to the prior release Tab plus. |

I concur. I have "galaxy 7.7" entered on a craigslist search. Hoping someone bought one cheaper on contract and is selling it under $300 not knowing its value. Dual Core Exynos - the SAMOLED+ screen. Great combo. Plus it has microSD. I still think 8-9" are the sweet spot for portability and viewing area. I have the Galaxy 8.9. It's tegra 2. I always have it on me where as my Evo View didn't always get carried because it didn't seem enough of a step up over my 4" Epic. And I had three different 10" tablets (TF, Thrive and A500), and they just seemed a bit much to carry around. And with my Epic having a hard keyboard, I didn't even make use of the keyboard dock on the TF.
The Tab 2 over the Nexus: expandable storage, HDMI & USB Host via a dongle, IR blaster and dual cameras. But it loses out on the processor and screen (type and res). So it depends what is important to you. The Tab 2 and Plus share the same screen I believe. Tab Plus has the 1.2ghz exynos processer. The Tab 2 has the 1.0ghz OMAP. Both dual core and the OMAP isn't necessarily bad. Neither are blessed with the 7.7's SAMOLED+ screen. I believe the rest is a wash between the two. And the PLS screens aren't bad by any means. I like it on the 8.9 quite a bit. That 800 res on the 8.9 screen is nice too. Last edited by dbpaddler; 07-09-2012 at 05:48 PM.. |

Placed an order on 7/8/12.
Received UPS Basic tracking number on 7/9/12. Sent an email to 1saleaday to confirm the order status on 7/10/12. Received an email response from 1saleaday confirming that the order was shipped on 7/11/12. Sent the second email to 1saleaday asking where the tracking information is on 7/13/12. Received an email response on 7/15/12 that they have system problems with the tracking information. Also claimed that I can expect the delivery shortly. We will see how it goes. |

Same type of issue here. When I ordered on the8th, it said I should receive it by the 12th. Well, on the 12th, the UPS tracking said that the label was generated at 4:00 AM on the 10th, but they hadn't yet received the package at their station. I am only a 20 minute drive from them, so it really shouldn't take an entire week to ship a little box up here!!!
I contacted 1saleaday twice and this was their second response: JUL 15, 2012 | 12:58PM EDT Stephanie replied: Thank you for contacting 1saleaday. I apologize for the inconvenience but we provide a tracking number once the label is created. We are currently experiencing a slight delay with this item and for that I am sorry. Please allow 24-48 hours for movement on your tracking to be updated Please let me know if there's anything else i can assist you with Sincerely, Stephanie |
