500 Skymiles from Accor Hotels Le Club

thanks op. every point helps. Just to make I'm doing this right, after I sign up for an account I go to my profile, the go to:

Manage my Le Club Accorhotels points>Activate/Deactivate automatic conversion of my points into airline miles

and then enter my skymiles information. Am I correct?

Interesting: they don't list Motel 6 in their hotels. I wonder why. Maybe there's a crappiness filter?

Edit: Accor sold that crap to Blackstone, which now owns Hilton.

"Next transfer to SkyMiles possible starting at 4000 points."

Does this mean that one needs 4000 miles before transfer?

Since the bonus is given in hotel points if conversion to skymiles does require 4000 miles, the offer is then not interesting.

The Text I saw was during the Sign-up. It was under an ** item. Not sure if this applies to subsequent transfers or the first one. Anyways, Wait and Watch, I guess.

The important mention is the one next to one you highlighted Nalayak: 4. ...and converted into SkyMiles according to applicable conversion rule..

Then if you look in the pdf file you will see the following mention:

"9.2. CONVERSION INTO AIRLINE MILES
The Member may convert his or her Le Club Accorhotels points into airline Miles (after
reaching a minimum level of Le Club Accorhotels points) with Le Club Accorhotels
Program partner companies (based on his or her account balance shown on
accorhotels.com). The list of participating airline carriers, conversion limit(s) and the
Le Club Accorhotels points-to-airline Miles conversion rates are provided on
accorhotels.com in the Rewards section."

Finally if you do go to http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/lec...tions.html you will find out that :

"For each of these airline companies, the minimum threshold is 4000 Le Club Accorhotels points per conversion, based on the following rate:
4000 Le Club Accorhotels points = 2000 airline miles."

I'm not sure but I guess this applies to the 500 miles as well. Given the first part of 4, I am assuming that you will get 1,000 points and it's up to you to earn 3,000 more before the 1,000 expire.

You may get more TUs if you add Delta in the title. Thanks either way
