Here is the link, note that to get this price you need to be a member. If you buy ammo in bulk, It is a no brainer to become a member of this site, as they have at least 10 good ammo deals a year, and the discount more than offsets the $30 membership fee, plus you get 2 $10 off no minimum coupons when you join. In this case, if you bought 2 cases of this stuff, your discount would more than pay for your membership on just this purchase alone. They have lots of other great stuff too, along with a bunch of crap Smilie.

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/ne...1781&e=Y]]

Coupon for $15 off $99: SK438
Coupon for Free Shipping: SH434

NonMember $15 off $150: ADRIAN912

COUPONS DO NOT STACK.

NOTE: It is a nobrainer to become a member if purchasing this deal. It has been reported that when you check out, it will ask if you want to be a member for an additional 5% off. Just say NO (Smilie), and the next screen should offer you a one time 10% discount on the current purchase to become a member, where that 10% discount will be MORE than the membership fee on this deal. Just say YES Smilie. Thanks to sv650touring for that info.

This is almost indistinguishable in quality from the LC brass from Federal (the XM193), although it IS made in Korea vs Lake City, it is great ammo, google around to confirm if you like. Besides LC M193 or M855 (or the tracer variants), PMC X-TAC (not PMC Bronze, which is the milder charge with thinner brass I believe) and Priv Partisan brass are the only 5.56 rounds I trust and will put through my rifles, and the brass itself is great stuff, great for many reloads. Considering the current cost and availability of LC brass, this is a great deal on price per round being .32 (where LC is getting up to almost .40, and when cheaper it goes out of stock pretty quick).

If you want 62gr M855 with Steel Penetrator tip, here it is for $360 shipped: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/ne...x?a=745158, same coupons above apply.

I may have to join this site. I have seen a few posts now from these guys with cheap ammo prices. Im getting started with stepping up my gun collection and considering learning reloading.

On another note I noticed sportsman guide is on Mr Rebates list of vendors for another 3% off of your total purchase. Just a way to add a little extra savings from sportsmansguide or other stores.

I have been a member for a couple of years, and never regretted it, the membership is relatively cheap, normally pays for itself with the discount I get on my first (or renewal) purchase, since I always buy in bulk for the savings. The 2 $10 off $10 coupons are just a bonus, along with getting the discounted prices and members only coupons every now and then (free shipping, x% off, etc.).

Compare the $360 here for M855 to to CTD's current price on the same (although that stuff is lake city) at $500 per 1000. I personally cannot tell the difference, if anything the X-Tac is nicer because it is boxed (less damage in shipping among other things) and LC is known for not tumbling their brass and/or sellign really old brass(my last order had loads from the 60's), and there are lots of dings so either it really gets treated like crap or it is reloaded? That said, I have never had an issue with LC loads so still swear by it, even though it may be ugly, it always works Smilie. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/AMM-223C

I bought two of these exact same boxes of M855 from CTD for $350 a piece only 2 month ago... so the price jacking is really starting to pick up on the LC rounds, and soon everyone will be buying up all of the alternatives so price jacking will start soon there too (the Priv, PMC X-Tac, Federal, American Eagle, etc. M193 and M855 rounds).

Although I may keep 1000 or so for myself, I think around October they should hit a peak and i will sell, unless Obama looks sure to win, then i will wait until after the election, and see what happens before deciding when to sell.

It looks like the deal is even sweeter if you sign up for a membership.

When I went to check out, they offered free shipping if I got a membership, on top of the usual 5% off. I said "no" and then they offered 10% off w/free shipping. Add in the SG2590 code and the total is $320.96 For the 1000rds of ammo (shipped), a 1-year membership, and a $15 gift card.

Wow, SOB, I was close to expiring so they asked me if I wanted to renew, and I just checked the yes box. DOH!!!! Congrats, that 31.5 cents (roughly, after GC) pr rd for M193 brass hasn't been around in a WHILE. Good deal!

I was just pricing different ammo combos at SG, and I thought I'd run yours through. I don't even own any .223 guns. Good prices on soft point 7.62x54R also.

FYI, for those that ordered, I got my gift card today, which was pretty fast, but it also expires 8/31, so not much time to use it Frown.

This deal is still live, just new coupons, I have updated the OP. Also, I received my ammo yesterday, nice and pretty, good brass, none that I could find that had the dimples, etc like LC does (although as I have said before, I am still a LC guy, it may not be pretty, but it has never failed me, or the US military Wink).
