I have been using DVDFab 5 and 6 burner, dont know if this DVD creator will allow you to burn DVD as well?

you old fogies do know that discs are so last generation? seriously, can't remember the last time I touched a DVD, bluray or CD.

Perhaps, but with a physical disk, at least I know that in the next generation, I would have a shot at playing it whereas if I simply use some online streaming service, who know if they will be around in the next generation.

Also, with a physical disk, I can still make an electronic version using DVDFab so I get the best of both worlds.

Is Ripper separate and not included? That is what I have been wanting for free.

This is only for the DVD CREATOR part of DVDFab, not the DVD Copier or DVD Ripper, or BluRay Copier, or BluRay ripper, etc. Pretty crappy for most people, but free is free.

If I have a ripped bluray ISO, will this easily compress it down to fit on a DVD?

Good answer, but there's actually another way to look at it. Price - the SD Holy Grail. Now it all depends on the price trade off between the yearly cost of the service, versus the individual cost of videos, plus the quality issues as some services typically stream more at 720p/1080i though that's thankfully changing for the better.

If your don't really watch a lot of movies, let's say once a week, you can essentially use Redbox for proofing new shows, and if you do a bunch of rebates you can get a fair number of free rentals on top of that. If it's a movie that you are going to watch at least four-five times over the next several years, then you start watching for an under $10 online sale. For me, when you add on the fact our library carries a bunch of DVD's (they had all the Marvel prequals for "The Avengers") and it's actually pretty easy to skip the streaming service.

Obviously this is all YMMV - if you watch three or four movies a week, then the right video streaming service is obviously going to be a better choice. What's nice about streaming services is that they have put quite a bit of downward pressure on disc prices. I purchased the Tora, Tora, Tora Blu-ray book at Amazon for $10, and I probably watch that once or twice a year. Heck, I remember when VHS tapes cost $80 (over $150 in today's dollars as a guesstimate, probably gives me trilobite status) and all you could really afford to do was rent. Competition, and choice, can be a very good thing.
