2013 International CES Las Vegas Free Registration Jan 8-11

Gold Coast had a $29/night promo. I booked last week. They changed the price now though. Keep looking on kayak daily for 3 stars within 5 miles of LV Convention Center (on the web, it doesn't work right on iPad app). I thought the gold coast of every day pricing until I saw it changed last week. Terribles also had super low prices. Last year I stayed at Southpoint.

Anywhere you stay doesn't matter much of you have a car, just drive to Monte Carlo, park an take the free shuttle. The is also McDonald's at Monte Carlo to get breakfast if you have time. The Starbucks inside its a rip off though costs 3.90 for regular coffee that's $1.95 everywhere else at SB. When you get back you can also eat there, it's a little food court with tons of CES people on laptops. Parking at Monte Carlo is free, covered and very short walk to Casino unlike most casinos where you have to walk a mile in between the slot machines.

Driving to the nearby the convention and parking in a ipen air dirt unattended parking lot for $20 and walking 2 miles is the dumbest thing I did the first year until I discovered the Monte Carlo trick.

The attendants take the money and disappear after the lot gets full like 9am, not the best neighborhood to have your California plate vehicle unattended for 12 hours.

Isn't it only 1st hour free @ Monte Carlo parking?

Does anyone know if there is going to be a late 2013 CES free registration code this year?
Over the past two years, they've had late free registration codes and I was hoping this was a consistent thing (last year they released it around thanksgiving I believe).

Has anyone heard anything about a late free reg code this year?
