I'm on a Classic family plan now. I'm eligible for max handset discount now, my wife won't be until November 19.... I am planning on going to family value plan and buying the device(s) at Costco.
Can both my wife and I get a GS3 each ($390 x 2 = $780) and BOTH get a free GS2 (after rebates)? Ideally, we'd like to sell both GS2s immediately to defray the cost of the GS3s... From what I read, it seems like this is allowed, but wanted to see if anyone saw fine print I missed, or there's a flaw in my plan. Thanks Troy |

Costco - Prepaid - Value Plan - Port Number? I am not a Costco member and I read the better deal is through them and not T-Mobile. Does it make sense to become a member and do I need to become one to get the deal? Does it make any sense with the BOGO on the value plans to go the prepaid route and get Samsung Galaxy Blaze (one for my wife and one for me) and my wife have the $60 plan and I have the $30 (if that would work for me)? I was not planning on going back to the contract route, however, this deal seems so sweet along with the value plan. I would probably get the Samsung S3 for her and the Samsung S2 for me. We have phone numbers since ages ago we would like to keep. Can we transfer or port them with this deal? (Out of contact with T-Mobile at the present time.) Any suggestions would be helpful. I have carefully read the rebate, and (my interpretation) is that you don't need to have (or purchase) a 2nd line for each BOGO offer. It states that this offer is available to someone on an individual plan, and only that you need to make a call on your extended line of service (see excerpt below). I believe 'extended' is just referring to the primary/ first phone line you are extending your contract on... 3rd bullet point under "details' on the right side: ----------------------------------- To be eligible for the Rebate Card: (i) your submitted materials must be validated by T-Mobile; (ii) you must have an active account meeting the rebate requirements; and (iii) your handset must be used to complete at least one call on your extended line of service. ---------------------------------- Did I miss anything on the rebate? Anyone agree/disagree with the above? I might need to place a call to customer service and have them explain (and notate my account with the explanation) to ensure I don't get sc%3$d on this... T-Mobile: Samsung Classic Plan BOGO, Value Plan MIR when buy two: S2, Blade, Exhibit....data required. 7/11-9/4
If I buy S3 and S2 on classic plan from Costco in the morning and call customer care in the evening to convert into VALUE PLAN. Will I get rebate for S2 ($150) or it will be void ? I am aware of Migration fee ($200 each)........... Share your thoughts or suggest best way to get S3 and S2 on value plan under $550. Thanks !!! |
