What a load of crap. What makes these HDMI cables "super high resolution"?
I think this is a good deal, I just don't like how they are labeled
They actually did a pretty god job at labeling the product since they actually outright tell you the HDMI version number. I've been looking at HDMI cables on Amazon and like 99% of those cables they don't even bother telling you what HDMI version it is which is really aggravating to me, so kudos to buy.com for actually noting that. Of course the "super high resolution" is no longer true since HDMI 1.4 is currently out which supports 4K x 2K resolution. However, back when these cables were originally made they were considered "super high resolution" because the prior versions only supported 1080p @ 60hz, but the upgrade to 1.3 allowed for up to 1600p @ 75hz. Yeah I know more than you were looking to hear, but I have nothing better to do.
I think I'll pick these up since I have absolutely no use for what 1.4 offers and I know a friend who is also in need of an HDMI cable. My old HDMI cable decided to bust off right at the connector. Thanks OP.
