Does anybody figured out how to play youtube? There is no app for youtube and when I tried to play through browser flashplayer update message came on, don't know how to update the flash player.Confused
You can rep me later Wink
but if you go couple pages back I go in detail about youtube. Here's the way it works. Although everyone has the same model for this tv,not everyone's tv is built the same way(weird I know) the rep told me,some people get it during firmware upgrade and some people dont. depends on the tv you got. I actually ordered 5 of these and none of mine got youtube during the update. it's the luck of the draw. that's why some people's numbers change after update while others remain the same

I think youtube was added with a firmware update, make sure your tv is online (ethernet or wifi) and update your firmware.
Ethernet is connected and I watch movies on netflix surf the web. Ran firmware update many times, but version # V00.01.00a.B1125 still the same as it came.

Thanks for the help with the glasses. Returned Amazon's one and bought a couple from eBay for $17.30. BTW, one of them wouldn't charge.
Also, while experimented with the glasses, seen such dark screen. Any one noticed similar lighter stains visible on the dark? Please see the picture.
qwe1234 ---

I had the same issue with my TV and I was freaking out because when I got the TV, I did not have those white stain that you can see clearly on dark.. Guess what I found out?
When I got my TV mount, I went ahead and installed the two bars in the back of the TV. I found out that when the screws are all the way in, the white stain appear. It took me a while to figure it out. So I removed the screws and the white stain were gone. So what I did was: I removed the screws, and put isolators between the screws and the the bar that I installed on the TV. Alternatively, you can use smaller screws, just long enough to hold your bars tight, and not too long to cauze the white stain.

I hope my findings will help you.

My TV is on the stand and TV has 4 white/grayish stain marks on the screen which are located where the screws goes for mounting from the back. Since these units are refurbs the previous owner must have mounted and tighted so much that it made 4 permanent screw impressions on the screen. It is noticable on white backgroud.

Is your TV still on the stand? does the white stain appear only when TV has the screws on the back or without??

Does anyone have this working with a HTPC? It looks great for me on VGA but hdmi oversharpens everything and is very laggy.

That's the reason I use VGA except for 3d content, I compared it to my sister 1080p LG plasma and mine still looks better. I didn't know VGA could deliver HD 1080p

Apparently Hisense released the firmware update. I ran a firmware update last night and it updated my firmware from V00.01.00a.B1125 to V00.01.00a.C0917 and now I have a youtube app. But it is still missing flash player support.

Well I got my new one that I ordered last week, PQ is much better, no longer have to have the brightness jacked to stop the muddy picture. However whoever did the refurb did not notice that the Video RCA jack is bent something fierce. It still works, but I will see if Wally World will offer some credit, as I don't want to have to lug yet another 55 incher back to the store.
