In 4 one, anyone know how thin this thing is? I wonder how the inputs are situated, all flat or stick out the back?

Hisense webpage is "Down for an upgrade!!" so no info... :-(

Everytime I see a crappy tv brand. Someone always add "it's a rebranded Samsung". Whatever it takes to convince people to buy I guess.

Hah, yes. One can always hope that they're at least the same higher-end Samsung panels that just didn't make the quality cut for Samsung's own TVs.

I bought one when they had the deal on them new around super bowl time. It's the best purchase I've made in terms of value IMO. I was worried with it being never heard of, but figured it's walmart I can just bring it back easy. Well I've had led TVs for a long time real nice samsung and phillips 37" 1080p. I can not believe this tv isn't more popular for the price. The picture is amazing. Every time someone comes over they comment on how great the picture is it looks 3d. This is without a 3d movie. It was a little hard finding 3d glasses for it. I went through 2 sets on amazon before the third set I found worked perfect. The 3d is amazing and like I said normal 2d content on blu-ray even streaming from netflix etc is awesome looking. I would like to pick up another for the bedroom at this price. You will be amazed at the picture quality. I haven't had one person that has not made a comment on how unreal the picture looks. Plus built in wifi, apps, USB.. You really can't go wrong at this price. IF anyone has questions feel free to ask, had it since just before super bowl. Haven't seen them in another walmart since. They had to take a loss on these. My only complaint is, which may have been corrected. Customer service was non existant in another country. Why I went through 3, 3d glasses before the 3rd worked. I couldn't get ahold of support, and their website to order their own 3d glasses wasn't working. I think I paid around $30 each for rechargeable 3d glasses at amazon.

Hisense is a popular brand in china and made in Qingdao (Tsingtao), China. The city is also the hometown of Haier and Tsingtao Beer.
I could go for some tsingtao about now.

I recenlty had a 32" HiSense LCD kick the bucket on me, I opened it up to see if it was bad caps and found that the power supply and main board are both Dynex parts.

So mine was a rebranded Dynex set, hard telling what parts are included in these.

That's right. Until it reached about 300 hours of usage. Then what you do is unmount it from the wall and put it out on the curb on your rubbish collection day.
