Does anyone know if this will fit into a QX4? Nissan Pathfinder basically. Or do I have to figure out how else to get it home?

...and nicely done Maltamonk. Way to handle a bully that allows himself to hate.
Yes - I took it home in a Highlander with one seat down.

Which coupon? Details please. Thanks.
Sorry - like others have posted - its an instant rebate. You don't have to do anything other than take the ladder to the checkout and it rings automatically.

Thx. Seems this is a costco only model...can't find any specs online, too bad I was hoping it was the RevolutionXE model.

I can't bring myself to buy it. Weren't these readily available on clearance for $79 or $99 at HD a couple years ago? Or was it one of the imitations?

Just chiming in to say I saw the same deal at my North Dallas Costco today ($139.99). I bought mine from Costco 2 yrs ago for $180 and it is worth every penny! This is the lowest I've ever seen them priced.

There isn't a rule about not calling. Nothing wrong with calling a store in this case. I don't think all the employees at Costco are going to buy the ladders or hide them for later. Who even knows if this deal is everywhere? I for one am not going to drive all over without calling or getting a confirmation from the thread first.
I understand you've been registered on this site longer than I have, but I assure you I've been lurking on this site for a long, long time.

Thus, I will have to disagree with you. People that have been here longer than you seem to constantly remind people of said rule....

There's literally hundreds of examples.... If you utilize the search function for the SD forum instead of simply stating your opinion, you'll see those examples as well...

I agree that the do not call rule doesn't apply to costco - that rule is for price mistakes and fear of employees hoarding merchandise. Costco never has a price mistake, they merely clearance out their stuff for slightly cheaper prices.

On that same token, I used my Werner - splitting it up to use a piece of wood as a platform - to mount my LED TV. So we had the wood which was 15-20 lbs, myself at 180, my wife at 130, and a TV at 50 or so pounds plus the force exerted with lifting said TV up numerous times to try and get it secured on the wall mount. The ladder and the wood platform fared well, but the tiles underneath the ladder cracked at the grout. Mad

Repeating misinformation doesn't make it true, no matter how many times it is repeated.

There is no "rule" to not call, and the prudent SDer will call in many cases. Nearly all stores have policies prohibiting employees from buying anything on their shift or "taking" items, which is why no one has ever posted any examples of employees "taking" items.

Call if you want, don't call if you don't want, but please don't try to control others by telling them not to call and claiming there is a "rule".
Seems the majority of SD disagree with you and there is, in fact, a "rule." They simply feel it is not applicable in this instance. That doesn't mean there is no rule, spoken or otherwise or that it is incorrect information because you, or the minority, choose not to follow it.

I'll admit I don't know the nuances of the SD rules, but I am not going to be the cause of a deal being lost or discontinued because I called or took advantage (like others are accusing the other poster about abusing the warranty, or abusing the various retail chain's return policy) so I err on the side of caution. But you obviously have no issue with doing that as long as you get a good deal. To each their own, I guess.

There have been discussion's before if " Never Call" is a rule on SD's and the answer is no. Some would then argue it is a unwritten rule. You could always ask a moderator. My opinion is that some people don't know when and when not it's OK to call. For them " Never Call" might be good advice. I personally trust my own judgment and feel comfortable in calling when appropriate. Some of the people that say "Never Call" are the same one's that should never call because they can't distinguish when and when not it's appropriate. Do you stand by the opinion that you should "Never Call" Why wouldn't it be applicable in this instance, could there also be other instances when it's OK to call? Doesn't "Never Call" mean "Never Call"?
