Thread Details

I must stay at a Hampton Inn for a wedding in August. The special rate is $200 for a hotel in NH. I know I can find a cheaper rate. Anybody know of any coupons/codes?

I sign up but rate didn't go down.Frown

The rate is not valid at all hotels. The code is only valid at participating hotels. Not all hotels give the same discounts.

www.hiltonfamilymvp.com And hope they have an MVP rate setup. Its generally about 10 to 15 percent lower than AAA rate. Some hotels have it some don't. The program is old, its from the 2008 Olympics but many hotels still have the rate and there's nothing special about requirements.

FYI, as of recently the site doesn't work right in Chrome anymore. Its one of the only websites I use IE for.
worked for me - I used IE. Thanks a lot, repped

20% off the Best Available Rate for Honors Members at Hilton hotels. You must sign up for free honors membership

Go to Hilton.com. Put in the city, and date. Click on add special rate codes . Under special rate codes, enter corporate code 0560041604 (Doubletree, Embassy Suites or Hamptons) or N0041604 (Hilton's) If they have the MVP Rate available, it will show MVP next to rate under each hotel. I usually start out with the first code to get the hotel list and then adjust the code if I am looking at a Hilton brand.

You need to sign up for Hiltons Honors Membership to use and book with this code. That is the only requirement for the MVP rate code. You may have to start over at Hilton.com after reviewing the details of each hotel you are considering when getting deep into a search, otherwise it may give you some error about they are having problems processing at this time. If you look up, the website address has changed slightly. If you start over at Hilton.com again, no problems. It's a little bit of extra work SOMETIMES but worth the 20% savings. I usually check kayak as well to make sure I am truly getting 20% off the best rate available at the time of reservation. Nine times out of ten, this is the best rate. I've stayed in some really nice rooms for dirt cheap. I am a Silver Member.

Do they ask for any additional corporate identification at the time of check in when I book using a corporate account?

+1 Thanks for the Corporate Codes! This worked for me! I had the MVP for other reservations, but this time at one hotel I wasn't getting the better deal. Your codes worked!

I've been using this for several years. When I first started using it, it was a fast track to gold promotion. I am a Silver honors member now after I had a year of Gold. The honors number is the only current requirement I am aware of and they cannot offer this rate code to you, it must be requested by you. I've never been questioned about the code. I book with my honors number and they don't even ask about that. I don't know if they ask for ID for other corporate codes. Personally, I wouldn't risk it.

My gold expires in May and I am planning to travel in June. Do you know if I'll still be able to use my gold benefits if I book prior to my expiration date?

Last year I booked under Gold membership in February but it went to silver by the time I stayed in June. I still received the Gold benefits and one of the best rooms (Hilton at Seaworld) there. One out of every 5 times I am still getting Gold benefits even though I fell to silver. I think it depends on who is checking you in. My son's sweet smile probably helps too. He is a charming doll which is good since I'm pushing mid 40's and no longer "got it "vomit

I don't need a HHonors account to get this discount do I? I put in the code for a Hilton and it dropped to $87/night which is amazing!

If I don't need an HHonors account for it I'm going to book.

HH honors is just a free points account you sign up for. Takes 30 seconds and you never have to use or see it again.
