After signing up with Thanks Again, you have to re log-in to your new Thanks Again account, go to My Account and you will find the 1000 miles offer there. Just signing up for Thanks Again doesn't get you 1000 miles by itself. You have to go into My Account to see the 1000 miles offer. You'll then get the code via TMobile.

In addition to this offer, I also signed up for the Mileage Plus Dining welcome offer (found from wiki link). Seems like a pretty easy 1000 miles for $50 in spending. Basically sign up, spend $50 at any restaurant or bar in your area that participates within 30 days then write a review of the restaurant within 20 days of that dine. Not much of a choice in my area, so I'm just going to get a $50 gift card at Sonic. Don't eat there much, but it will slowly get used and i'll get the 1000 miles.

I just enrolled. To be safe, I used a virtual Visa number with low limit of $20.

We will see if the 1K miles show up or not. Will green/rep OP if those miles come.

Some CC companies would do that. One of them is Bank of America. That's what I used for this offer.

I just logged into my "Thanks Again" account and the 1000 miles posted on 8/22 (I signed up on 7/12). So they should post to my United account in another few weeks.
