Laptop
I'm looking to purchase a laptop since I'm currently without a home PC at the moment. I'm completely lost when it comes to what is good anymore (damn you console gaming), and I was looking for some advise from the GL as to what would be a good buy at the $500 - $750 range.
I'd like to do some gaming (maybe Diablo 3, and a few others, but nothing like Crysis), and I have just about a ton of GCs and reward zone certificates to Best Buy, so if there is a good one there that is under a grand that would work as well. I'd like to keep the screen size at around 15, but I'm not against going to 17 if there is a highly recommended one (I would however not want to go below 15 in).
But if you have just generalities (like avoid HP, Asus makes good stuff, don't get this graphics card, etc) that would be super helpful as well since whenever I look at this stuff I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the different stuff (and I'm no longer sure what is needed anymore to run games/OS/etc well).
If there is a thread somewhere already just point me that way (and then ignore this thread to prevent it from bumping), but I went back a few pages and couldn't find anything.
Thanks in advance all!
