FAR G-oil 5w-30 5Quart valid up to 7/24/12

I contacted them directly and they said to use it within a year, remember not all oil is made of beef tallow.

According to an interview I saw on youtube, 60 % of Goil is biodegradable( basically the base stock). I think after running it through the engine for 5000 miles base stock wiil roughly remain the same with more chemicals inside it. So those chemicals may not be biodegradable but the base should still be. Hence after oil chnage we can assume 58% biodegradable and2% chemicals are not. Remember oil's molecular structure will still be the same even after 5000 miles.

Always great when oil is free. But thanks to the idiot(s) that stole the UPC off the last 2 bottles on the shelf at local Walmart, I couldn't buy one. Now I have to travel to the next nearest Walmart.. bleh...

Don't feel too bad cause it probably doesn't matter. I submitted my rebate back on May 1st and it's been more than 10 weeks and status still shows "processing". Some links on their site are dead, status shows weird dates, no phone number available to call and email went unanswered. I know some received rebates before but haven't heard anyone received theirs when submitted on or after May.

I have not gotten my rebate for this off either yet. I received 2 rebates previously. This rebate is not even showing up on the rapid rebates website. What is wrong with this offer code? Has anyone else received their rebate or is the rebate displayed on the website as "paid/processing". I have a feeling this deal isn't going to work.

Dude, you need to lay off the Energy drinks.....it has only been about 2 weeks since the offer was started.
You need to give it at least another week or two before panicking.

OK, I see my last rebate (for the 4 x 1 quart oil) status as denied with a bogus reason "Purchase date not valid for this offer". I purchased on 6/22 which is within the allowed range of 6/7 to 7/7. The phone number on the rebate form goes to some voice mail. The rebate site has a "contact me" link but no number to call...

I am wondering if this is the begining as a mass scam.
