FAR G-oil 5w-30 5Quart valid up to 7/24/12

Got free oil last two times and the rebates both came back (one just last week actually). No wonder they're posting negative cash flows if they're giving it all away free.

Received all 5 rebates I have submitted. No issues. Different offer # on this one, I will buy another jug tomorrow

I did one before just got my rebate last week

While free is free, assuming the rebate goes through, I would NOT trust oil from this company in my car.

As stated, they are in DIRE financial straits. Quality is of sincere concern from them because of this. Also, I do not see them registered with any accrediting agencies, such as API. No one is monitoring the quality and conformance of their oils, and I would not trust their oil in my car personally.

If any of my info is incorrect, please let me know. But on none of the standards lists do I see this company. Scary to trust your car with


EDIT: I stand corrected, Tuesday March 10, 2012 SAE and API gave them their certification for synthetic motor oil. So they are at least registered and watched on some of their product lines.

I did do that. 2 of them did not have any in stock. Luckily the third one did or else I would have done it all in vain.

they're controllably losing money. there are limited numbers of rebates per promotion. Just enough to get people to use their oil and create some hype on the internets.

they really need to partner up with more quick lube places and earn money that way.


or maybe some big oil company will buy them out and pay our rebates

just went to check the status of my rebate and the website is down. not a good look

I've had no problems finding this oil in my local WalMart or in getting my rebate checks. Works great in my Blazer with 190k miles and the wife's new-ish Subaru. If the company goes under before you get your rebate, guess what, you just bought some decent synthetic oil for a reasonable price.

Funny I just cashed the check today. Yes you do get. A 26 dollar check
It takes about a month to get it bit you will get one and the oil is good also

The deal was for the one posted about three months ago I bought it at the end of the due date.

Does it happen to be a Toyota? Maybe the 1zz-fe engine? It doesn't really matter, because Toyotas just burn oil. The 1zz-fe was the just the worst I know of. Some people burning a quart per tank of gas!!! I will never buy another Toyota.
