Not really that great of a deal. Essentially $499 for last years XPS with last years Sandy Bridge i7-2600. And you get a gimped XBOX, and no chance at the AMEX $100 off Dell credit since your'e buying from Microsoft.

imo not that bad of a deal. subtracting the ~$125 you'd probably get for the xbox on craigslist the cost would come out to about the same as building a comparably speced system. good for someone who wants to do some light gaming (or serious if you swap out that crap video card), phenomenal for someone who is a power user who multitasks a storm up as long as you put the main OS on an SSD

Pretty hot for those looking for a desktop.
I think the cheapest the i7 XPS 8300 sold for on Dell is in the higher $500s and that was Dell Outlet.
This is brand new and you can sell the XBOX for $150ish.

Still waiting for a good i7 IVY notebook w/ XBOX deal

XPS 8300 makes for a great hackintosh out of the box.
