i ordered on 7/11. ship on 7/12 but delivery date is 7/16. so much for 2 day delivery from shoprunner

shoprunner has a bad ship schedule... Their 2 days is business days and does not include saturdays... On their site they list the time you have to order by each day and what day it will arrive. http://www.shoprunner.com/about/a...php#faq_12

Some of today's models do go up to 220lb. But the "A" model is only 143lbs whereas the A model from the year 2000 (with the old folding mechanism design) was 220lbs. Today's 220lb models can be found in the "Pro" model which do not fold so it's difficult to carry, esp when you travel. There's also the folding A4 but that's almost 8lbs whereas the original A was 6lbs and change. The extra weight makes a difference when you're carrying it all day long if you take it on travel.

I used to take my Razor during my vacations back in the day. I took it to Paris and rode all over the city. Sure beats walking everywhere when the city is so large (the cobblestone roads was a bit rough however lol). I'm going to London next month and plan to take the scooter with me. I'm 36 years old now but I don't care. It's far more functional than I'd care to be embarrassed for riding it.

My fav one from 2000 is MS-130A2 with the same base plate as the A model (so it's compact and light), has spring loaded front shocks (it does soften the ride), a wheelie bar, carry strap that hooks to the opposite sides of the extending shaft which makes it so easy to carry on your shoulder when folded and you're walking around town (why don't all models have this!), and flashing lights (gimmick).

I didn't realize the newer Pro models do not fold up. I got a Pro model probably last year and it folds up.

You're right. The Pro model in your link does fold up but I passed on it b/c it was heavier at 8lbs. However, it was a great deal for $20 a few days ago! I probably should've gotten one. The other Pro models such as X, XX, and XXX, don't fold up - but definitely stronger so if you're the stunt type, you can take it a lot further. I just like to ride mine around town on flat pavement
