This is again, bare drive. If you want to mount this into a Desktop PC, you need a mounting bracket (2.5" to 3.5" adapter). Search around on Amazon/Newegg for some; there's tons of options.

Well if you look at the product reviews on Amazon for both SanDisk SanDisk Extreme SSD has 101 reviews and are almost 5*.

For Samsung the there are fewer reviews and those are also almost 5*.

In short I would not mind other company product if it is rated 5* with more reviews and cheaper!!

Anyone know the validity of this? Also, how can I be sure that this will work with my laptop?

64 GB drive is about half the speed of 128/256GB.

It will work on any SATA laptop.. as long as you have the proper proprietary SATA cable for the laptop.

i have both samsung and sandisk extreme. my samsung is the 256GB on my MBP (2011) and the sandisk is a 120GB on a windows7 tower. both have been running great, no complaints. i'd go with whichever is cheaper. but if both were the same price, i'd get the samsung, but that's just me.
