My Amazon invoice shows $34.96. So after the $8.00 discount and tax, my order total comes to $29.52. But I got notification today that DeepDiscount shipped my order and their cost when ordered was $17.99. So unless Amazon's price comes down to $25.99 (actually it would have to be less to compensate for state taxes), it's costing me money to buy from Amazon. I think I'll keep the DeepDiscount order when it arrives and wait to see what Amazon's price does. I can always refuse shipment and get a refund from Amazon!

Right now the Amazon price is showing as $27.99. So, if you have the coupon applied, the worst you should do from Amazon is $19.99.

ditto. i took a screenshot to be safe. it sounds like amazon is a little slow to update pre-orders, but should eventually give us the lower price. i was starting to regret not going in on the deepdiscount deal too!

What happens if I dont have Prime...and the price goes from $27.99 to $19.99 after the coupon...do I need to pay for shipping? Or because I preordered...it'll be free?

i haven't done a pre-order before, but i believe i've seen other people say that you still get free shipping.

it's possible, but i wouldn't count on it too much. i was watching the avenger's release, and i think the cheapest it got was $20, with some people being able to get it for $15 (i forget the exact scenario - might have been due to a similar pre-order coupon).

FYI, I just checked and my order was updated to the new price, $19.99 after the coupon, and the free super saver shipping still applied.
