Anyway to transfer pdf file to kindle?

Have a 450mb pdf file that I want to transfer to my kindle fire. I tried storing it on cloud storage on amazon but it doesn't show up on the kindle is there any other way I can transfer the file?

That should help you either get it on there or convert it to a format you can use. I assume you are trying to use the kindle e-reader right? Can't you just download a PDF reader, like acrobat on the fire?

go the App store, find "file expert" by Xi'an Geek, install it, run it, on it's main interface, "share my content", then "Start share via FTP"

then download a FTP client to your computer, at filezilla-project.org choose client, not server.

install, run it, you need to know your kindle's LAN ip, host=kindle's IP, username=fe, password=filexpert (it's xpert not expert, it's the default password,you can change it easily), port=2211

drag and drop the files.

"stop share via FTP" when you done.

video and pictures will refresh right away, maybe PDF need to restart the kindle, otherwise it won't show up(even when it show up, they are on "Docs" not "books" even you put them in Books folder, press and hold the power button to turn off, hope future firmware will fix this.

With a PDF that large you might want to break it up first. I would think as one piece performance loading it would be terrible.

or otherwise optimize it to reduce file size. you could test it first as is.
