This is a very common practice to 'toll' out your production to other companies. But what isn't often mentioned is that each company that contracts the production will have their own specs and recipe for making the product so just because something is made in the smae factory doesn't mean it is the same. Think of the dog food plants that were in the news for the food that made dogs sick. It was one plant and food from many different companies. They all go to the company and tell them what they want made and give them the specs. So even though food A (or battery A) and food B (or battery B) are made at the same factory doesn't mean they are the same. That said I don't buy the hype or the Coppertop or Energrize Bunny and think Rayovacs work fine.
