Good deal if you live in Greenland.
I joined slickdeals to save money but on the contrary, I spend money on things I don't even need and eventually end up in Goodwill or the trash.

lol....I feel sorry for those that need this. Our teeth start chattering when it gets below 70 deg here.

shows as $534.50 in my cart. (the sale price is 659.88 minus 10% minus 10%.) Am I doing something wrong or is this one of those YMMV-by-zipcode things?

I think the Ariens Sno-Tek is a better deal. $599 at HD, minues the 10% lowes coupon, puts it in the same ballpark as the Craftsman. Everything on the Ariens is the same as the full blown version except the engine, but you still have the same warranty.
I wouldn't be in a hurry to pickup a snow blower right now anyway, they usually go on sale at the beginning of the season, and you'll easily this price again. http://www.homedepot.com/Outdoors...reId=10051 |

Might be worth ordering if you live in the South just to see the looks of confusion on the faces of the employees. They might think it's a gigantic garden tiller.

This looks just like the one we got 2 years ago for $300, except this one has the remote chute direction control (Huge plus - wish ours had that feature). Has been a great snow blower although we had no snow to speak of last year.
That $300 deal was a price mistake and was a very popular thread.
