There is no written rule that states Craftsman deals need to all be grouped in one thread. I posted just 2 Craftsman Deals and I chose to post them in separate threads so that when voting occurs, we are able to distinguish which item is being voted on. Your Craftsman Sledge Hammer that I Front-Paged the other day had been posted on it's own and not added to any other existing Craftsman threads. It was clear what was being voted on and resulted in a successful deal that ended up on the FP

There may not be a written rule, but I've posted multiple threads with Craftsman tools before, and certain mods group them together, with one description. Seems like a bad way to do it, as you say, because it creates confusion over what is being listed and voted on, not to mention how much harder it is to find in search. When mods post multiple threads, they keep them seperate the whole time. Just seems like a double standard depending on who posts the threads, that's all. |

Not sure of your situation and what the circumstances/variables were... I am just explaining why I listed 2 separate threads for my 2 different items. ![]() If there is a merge/unmerge issue or concern that you have at any given time, you can feel free to put in a mod-alert to have it reviewed. We are always open to hearing concerns/suggestions. |

Mod's write the rules. You know why they are mods? Because they have a better grasp and rounder knowledge of how the forums best work for the community. Brisar and the other mods have years of watching the forums and have never failed to make a change when needed. Some deals are eh, and some are going to be gone in hours or minutes. Makes no sense to combine things simply because they are sold at the same place and are on sale. Slickdeals search sucks, titles are your best shot at actually finding what you search for. Combining a crapton of stuff in one thread that quite a few of will be OOS on is poor management and going to lead to 9876789876 reposts and a bunch of missed deals. Please Mod's don't start combining things into massive threads Donation is the Alpha not the Omega Lifetime member of the Daisybeetle fan club.
