I'm wondering what their definition of "new customer" is as well. I have BofA checking & savings accounts, but no BofA CC's....so technically I would be an existingBofA banking customer but a new BofA CC customer...I guess...Confused
You should be eligible for the offer. I got $100 CB for a CC when I had checking and savings accounts with them.

I have Savings A/c and Checking A/c with BOA but no CC, so I am assuming new account to be eligible means new CC accounts and I am eligible?? Anyone?

Well, last time I checked I was unqualified for any CC I can make without co-signing because I was still a college student with college loans debt and no job. I graduated and got my first job just last week, how soon/quick would my sudden status change would allow me to actually be qualified without co-signing?
I'm a college student with no job and I have a few cards. Although I don't have any debt and I receive a refund from my school which is considered income. It never hurts to try to apply. But with that being said, don't get the card unless you have the money to cover expenses.

I had signed up for their $100 cashback for opening a checking account. I had to go through endless hell to get the bonus, including a visit to a bank officer with a transcript of numerous chat sessions. Their incompetence is off the chart.

I personally wouldn't want anything to do them no matter what the promotion was. I kept getting mail from them long after closing the account and telling them to stop sending their junk mail. I finally just started marking it "return to sender" before it finally stopped.

Good luck if it sounds good nod. I believe you'll need it.

I just ordered a BOA Visa with $100 cashback, so I called and asked if I could switch it to a BOA Mastercard with $300 Bashback. However, they said I could apply for the Mastercard even though I was just approved for the Visa. They said that the Mastercard and the Visa cards were different, so I could order both.
