You could have returned it depending where it was bought. I've had zero issues with mine and it cost more a lot less than a Dyson. The reviews on Amazon are better for the Shark.

BUUUT .... I have this vacuum and this thing is AMAZING! It's been going strong for over 2 years now.

just to help the thread, they have the shark lift away at kohls which regularly has the 30% off + kohls cash... (I think that is going right now if I remember correctly) and is on sale for 179.99 which is 126+ tax + 20 kohls cash, that is the route I went when I got mine...

Also I had (wife stole it when she moved out) the dyson animal and besides a few little differences in features, I cannot notice a difference between the cleaning power.... I would buy the shark any day of the week...

wow this maybe perfect timing. GF just said we need a new vacuum and we were at Target hunting one down. Our bagged and belt dyson broke last week. Dog hair is a daily job


Does anyone know how big this thing is? Just looked at the pictures and this thing looks HUGE. Compared to a normal vacuum?

I live in a small city apt and I have trouble storing larger vacuums.

No lie here.
My gf was didn't listen to me.
She bought this one or 1 extremely similar for around $200.
Now she regrets it.
Waste of money if you have all carpet in your home this will be junk fast.

Now she wants a dyson like one I got for my bro and sis.

Got one for my parents.. They have a really heavy panasonic and it was always a hassle taking it up and down every time u need to vacuum, repped OP!

It is not bigger than a dyson, smaller head footprint than my last dyson (dc25) but that is design to give more suction, (i believe), should be no problem in an apt.
