Amex fail. I checked-in on foursquare and proceeded to add the amex offer to my card. I made a phone order and when I arrived at the restaurant, they told me they DIDN'T ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS!
Why is the promotion advertised for a merchant that doesn't even accept amex as payment? |

I haven't done this yet, but when I checked this morning, it seemed like every restaurant in my area was offering this deal! AMEX must offer the 5 off 10 for small business type places, I think you can load multiple offers so it should be 1 across each retailer.
I have 3 amex cards so I'm thinking about buying gift cards in $10 transactions to a bunch of these places Financial Advice for Young Professionals:

Thx OP, TU and repped.....I too am wondering if this is only once for all restaurants listed or can it be used at each restaurant offering the special. Anyone see rules anywhere for this deal?
