I have a crapton of LGA775 CPU's and DDR2. I'd like to make usable machines, but I don't want to drop over $100 for 10 motherboards (even though this is cheap and you can still do quite a lot with a Core 2 Duo).
This 3rd party seller has an 80% rating. Look at his other items and they're all way overpriced. I bet you this is a price mistake. I think he meant to sell 1 piece but sloppily listed it with the 10-piece listing. To much hassle if it does turn out to be a price mistake and he ships you one motherboard. But if turns out to be real, then good price if you in the market for these P965 motherboards. If I remember correctly, they can only run the original 65nm Core and P4 processors, not the newer 45 nm wolfdales.
I wouldn't say that. Many companies out there probably have a keep a certain number of mobo's in case if they have to do customer repairs and such. Personally, I brought an intel mobo from ebay 18 months ago that came back as a replacement from a customer repair. Works fine so far.
