Europe trip- should I get a no Foreign Transaction fee card?
We are headed to London & Paris for 8 nights in September. None of my current credit cards have a "no foreign transaction fee" benefit. Is it worth applying for a card just for this trip? We are not applying for any loans soon so the credit score check shouldn't be an issue. Or do you recommend just using cash everywhere we go? I'd be worried about pick pockets in that case.
Also, if I do get a new card- do you have a recommended one? Just go with any Capitol One card? Chase Sapphire Preferred?
thanks.
