Verizon Wireless Unlimited Data Upgrade /w 2yr contract & NEW PHONE ALIVE! YMMV

I just went on to verizon's website and noticed I was able to keep my unlimited data plan when upgrading to a brand new phone. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or permanent. I called 3 Verizon stores and was told this was not a possibility. I went to one anyway to see if they could see the option to keep unlimited with a 2yr upgrade, and they said there was no chance it would be available..after a little push back she said okay and when viewing upgrade data plans she did in fact see the unlimited package....I was able to keep unlimited data!!! I have a receipt and could post a pic if you need proof. I don't know if this will last long, thought I would fill anyone in that missed the preorder of the s3..

As you may or may not know, Verizon made an announcement around 2 weeks ago discontinuing their unlimited plans all together even for upgrades (grandfathers). Only way previously was to buy an unsubsidized phone at crazy prices or buy purchasing a used phone from somewhere..

Home now, new Samsung Galaxy S3 and unlimited plan.
