TCL televisions

I'm looking for a TV for my parents. They want something in the 40-50 inch range to replace their current CRT TV. I have a Cheetah wall mount that can hold a 32-65" LCD TV.

They really don't need a fancy TV, like a Smart TV or anything like that. They just need one for their living room that they will probably attach a cable box and either a Blu Ray player or streaming device to via HDMI. I've been looking at this TV on Amazon.

I really like how it has the thin bezel and is an ultra thin TV. However, I have not heard of TCL the brand, so I was wondering if any of you can vouch for it. Obviously it has the 2 year limited warranty, and I would buy a Squaretrade warranty on Amazon as well, possibly 4-5 years (hopefully with a SQ code from here) so the total warranty length is 6-7 years.
