This is a fast acting protein meant for breakfast or right after your workout.

Syntha 6 is a blend of fast and slow acting proteins making it an all around protein.

It doesn't really matter that much about reacting times, but what does matter is this is a very clean protein. Syntha 6 is a pretty fatty protein. So take from that what you will.

in all seriousness, protein shakes are great for convenience but that is about it. if you are mixing it with anything else like milk, eating it with any food, etc then the whole issue about the carbs, fats, etc in the scoop are irrelevant.

best thing you can do is find the cheapest price, easiest on your tastebuds and thats it.

as long as it fits your calories, it does not matter.

i jump on the deals i see at GNC when you get 20lbs for around 100.

why do you need a "fast acting" protein? your body can maintain nitrogen balance on its own and if you ate hours prior.

syntha just has a bunch of fat, carbs added into it, so it is more a mix with less protein. this has more protein per scoop total.

the protein in syntha is mostly whey concentrate, the proprietary blend is a joke and you dont know how much is exactly in there.

also all this info on your "calories" and how fast the protein is was on empty stomach with the protein alone.

reality is, when you eat any food with others, your body digests it differently. there is also a thermic energy generated by the food itself.

i say if it is a good deal get it, but i will tell you 15 lbs for 122 is not a good deal. even if this is whey isolate (which you also do not need).

I was telling him what he asked, what the difference was. I didn't say you had to have whey or what not. It's a good deal for ON whey.

There is no sense in arguing what protein is better for what on here because everyone has their own views and opinions. Just keep it at what it should be on this forum, it's a good deal on ON whey.
