Anyone know a better place to refill the cartridges on these? I go to bedbathandbeyond and exchange empty for full ones for around 12 dollars with a coupon.
Also, does This rebate work with this model? Has anyone gotten the rebate? I can't find it on the official website, wondering if its legit, and for this model.

Just so people know, this soda is so nasty. Everything has a metallic aftertaste to it. Unless someone knows of a different brand syrup to buy?

General consensus is that it's awesome if you like to have soda water on demand. You can also buy some brand name syrups like Dr. Pepper in bulk from Sam's Club, etc. Most of the sodas are pretty bad IMO, mainly because they all use artificial sweetener and taste more or less like a diet soda. If you are accustomed to this taste you might have no issues. The energy drink is actually pretty good and I didn't need much to feel the effect. All in all, I use this primarily to make mixed drinks.

What is the average cost of making a 2 litre bottle with the Soda Stream?

I never pay more than $1.00 for a 2 litre bottle of name brand soda, and even less for the store brand.
