To be honest it isn't a good price for the phone it should be free. You're getting the lowest amount of memory a phone that phased out fast because of the 4S and signing a contract where you will pay a boat load of money. I would either be investing in the 4S since your already paying alot with a contract or get something like the Galaxy S2, for the same price. And if you really want to pull the trigger then i would just get the refurbished 32GB one for the same price since Bestbuy will give you a warranty with it.

Wal-Mart has had it for $48.88 for two months. You also only pay tax on sale price, not full retail(if you live in state that charges tax on retail value).

I agree I think that's terrible.

if you look at it this way.

You can get a pretty good prepaid unlimited plan for $50 a month
You can get post paid subscription roughly the same for about $80 dollars a month

so there is a approx difference of $30 dollars a month you're paying for the cellular company to subsidized the phone.

$30 X 24 months ( 2yr contract) = that's $720 you will be paying over the course of 2 years for that iPhone plus that $50 dollars initial cost. If you're going to put out that much month for a phone you might as well go about and getting a 16 or a 32gb for 100 bucks (that's if you can find the deal)

September/October ish but it really doesn't matter you'd be a fool to be spending this kind of money for a phone that is 2generations old with only 8gb of memory.
