That meritline price is too good to pass up. I'm guessing with all these memory deals out there, the prices are going to drop bigtime in the next 3-4 months.

I think so too. It is no coincidence that ssd prices have been falling roughly to the $0.50/gb mark.

I would hate to buy this now and see 64gb microsd cards hit $32 in a couple months.

It says ships from USA warehouse right on the product page. I think I've only ordered from them a few times, but they are roughly the same as amazon for me (5-8 days).

it depends on what you will be using it for. If you are like me, then you just want the extra space to store mp3's and video's, you want a card with good sequential read and write speeds. All speeds are shown in the Amazon pictures (I think the 3rd picture was the screenshot of someone's Crystal Disk Mark speed test). If you are going to be using the SD card to house your OS in any way, you want good 4k read/write speeds.

I bought the Adata 32gb class 10 from super media store last week for $23. It's sequential read/write speeds are faster than what the dude shows on the CDM test so I'm sticking with the Adata.

I'd never buy flash memory from Meritline. Even if it comes in retail packaging it could still, easily be a counterfeit product. It doesn't matter if ships from the US. All that proves is that they they've stocked it locally, it says nothing about the origin of the product. It could just be counterfeit product they've shipped from their warehouse in China.

Flash memory is among the easiest items in the world to counterfeit. The counterfeiters purchase cheap b-grade cards in bulk and slap a name-brand label on them. Even the full retail packaging is often counterfeited.

The only way to be sure you're getting a genuine product is to buy from very reputable stores. Amazon, Newegg, Costco, and never, ever, from Amazon 3rd party sellers. A huge percentage of Amazon's 3rd party flash memory sellers are pushing counterfeit products, even some that are "fulfilled by Amazon" are counterfeit.

Meritline is a "Deal Extreme" type business. IIRC, they're based in China with a US warehouse. It's a real warning sign when a company doesn't put their physical address on their contact page. Not that I wouldn't buy cheap Chinese junk from Meritline, I would. I just wouldn't buy any sort of memory products from them. If you do, you're just overpaying for cheap counterfeit products.
