I wish they had a model between the 52s and the 90s. I would settle for a great deal on the 90s.

Just found that out. Thanks for the heads up. Been on the phone with Sears and no luck with answers there. You know what they say " if it seems to good to be true then it's probably not true" or something like that. I bet that they are just selling one for that price.

Oh boy... got an email response from him... saying its for a set... what do you guys say? does sears marketplace has buyers protection? worth a try?

That's a hell of a deal.

I might use Paypal. I think that you get buyer protection with that. I wish I had an email to prove it on the pair.Might email them myself.

Anyone who works out can curl 50lb dumbbells easily. I can curl 80lb dumbbells for 2 reps an arm and I'm not some massive 200lb guy or anything.

If you can't curl more than that something is wrong. You need to eat more and gain some muscle or try harder. You might want to sacrifice form a bit to get you into the higher weight ranges OR look into 1-2lb weight add ons, they have them in magnet form to break sticking points.

These would only be decent for biceps and triceps, anything else and you should be using more weight.

These weights are junk. Go to a store and check them out in person if you don't think so. For everyone reading this thread I suggest looking into Powerblocks, I have the heavyweight XXL set and love them, they're expensive but if you're pretty serious about working out and don't plan on getting a gym membership they're well worth the money.

People worried about "Buyer Protection" if you're using a credit card, you're already protected....I thought SDers knew things like this...
