I understood what your OP meant. It is about whether birthright citizenship is a good idea or not. And you were questioning birthright citizenship based on the premise that your kids may not get slots due to competition from citizen children of unauthorized aliens.

You wish for reduced competition for your child and you believe that the elimination of birthright citizenship would lead to this desired reduction.

What you fail to realize is that most, if not all, of the unauthorized aliens do not come to the country just to produce anchor babies. Take away birthright citizenship and they will still come. They come as economic migrants and do not care much for citizenship. They do prefer to be legal but don't have 25+ years to wait around for a visa so they come to the U.S. without authorization. So in an alternate universe where birthright ctizenship doesn't exist, your child will still be competing with the same children of unauthorized aliens for the same slots.

yet youre complaining about birthright citizenship, which is the reason why the vast majority of americans are citizens. youre descended from slaves. please take the time to read this page [wikipedia.org]. before birthright citizenship, the supreme court said: "Persons of African descent cannot be, nor were ever intended to be, citizens under the U.S. Constitution." we could say its allowed only if they came legally OR were brought against their will (e.g., slaves), but then children (e.g., those kids that can take your kids spot) have no say in the matter do they? how many exceptions to the rule should we throw in to make sure all bases are covered in this imaginary change to the constitution that will probably never happen?

Which services, outside of emergency medical care, are they providing to unauthorized aliens that do not require valid SSN, proof of birth in the U.S., proof of legal immigration documentation, and other paperwork?

Public schooling, in-state tuition for those that attended public schools in the state, free/reduced lunch program, Section 8 housing. I'm not sure what else.
