Worked for me last week. It took a lot of closing windows and coming back to my cart. I couldn't find a pattern as to when it would show up and when it wouldn't.
Ended up using the Costco deal with RAF. My Costco card show up yesterday via FedEx, one week after my install was done.

Also, I selected the standard HD DVR when I signed up and the standard HD recievers. A day or two after I set up my install I got a call from Directv to verify the install date and she asked me if I would like to upgrade to the Home Media Center for no extra charge? I said yes. I assumed there was a shortage of the free DVRs, but the installer said he had plenty of them. They also included the new C31 client units that give me full DVR functionality on my other TVs. Not sure what the criteria is for the upgrades, but you might get lucky.

Most customers can get 1 free move in a 12 month period. Keep in mind, the initial install is free so your 12 month period would start when your initial install took place. Meaning if you were installed in July and are moving now in October it wouldn't be free. You'd need to wait until July or August 2013 to get a free move.

Your contract will not be renewed unless you upgrade or add receivers during your move.
