wow, that's a pretty good deal. I had upgraded from a 10D to a 50D a few years back and it was WELL worth it. reviews on the 60D are solid.

Go and play with both. I was deciding between this and the t3i and after going to the store bought the 60D package refurbished from Canon for $863 w/tax with the deal last week. My hands were larger and felt more comfortable with the 60D. With this price you can't beat it. Sure, something is always going to be around the corner, but with DSLR's I've decided to splurge on the lens and wait for the yesterday's latest and greatest. Best bang for your buck, IMO!
