Southern California Deal Discussion Thread

It would be nice to have a localized thread for deal discussion.

I would like folks to discuss how they do things normally around thier home town.

I am starting this thread to discuss places to visit and get deals on those places and avoid pitfalls. Please feel free to update Wiki with your expertise.

All I know is this much and I know it is the least of most of you

1. Disney land. (Best deal 50$ a park hopper on Craig list)
What is the most cost effective way to go there? 5 day hopper convert to Annual Pass with blackout days.

2. Sea World (Best deal 30$)

3. Big Bear Mountain.

Tips:

Dont waste a 10$ in Costa Mesa zoo. It is not a zoo. :-)
Always use the TOll road to get from New port beach to Costa Mesa becasue that part is free.
Find free parking on the street above Laguna Beach and save $10.
City of Laguna Beach has one of the Most dangerous streets. The 3rd Street. DOnt drive your beater up the hill.
