What, exactly, will this solve or do? It's a farking movie. What happened was tragic, but it's stupid to pull it out of theaters. Pray for the victims and their families. Don't try and make yourself look like a better/bigger person by demanding a movie be pulled from theaters out of "respect".

I could see them maybe making some donations to help the families affected but to pull the movie is silly ! That just gives the sick people that pull crap like that more attention !

I think they should shut down the MPAA oh and the RIAA aswell out of respect for the tragedy.

Pulling the movie from theaters would give the shooter exactly what he wanted, mass attention and the chance for the "Joker" who he claimed to be to beat Batman. Brilliant plan! NOT!

OP, I respect your opinion on this, but I don't think it would do any good for anything. It would set the example that if you want to make an impression and shut down a movie you don't agree with, then you can just go shoot people watching it because society is full of pushovers and will shut down the movie out of "respect" for the victims.
FYI.....I went to the see Batman last night, and it's probably the best movie I've ever seen. This would have the same logic as closing down all high schools because of colombine. Or stopping all bus service because of the recent bombings in bulgairia. Or get rid of all mcdonalds because many people have been shot there...

maybe they should shut down all colleges.. this guy was a phd student and lautner was a community college student.. maybe colleges are what is causing these shootings..
