These deals are good enough on their own and you still want to find a way to cheat the system? I'm all for taking advantage of a possible price mistake but what you are doing is no better than entering a store with a past receipt, finding those items on the shelf, and walking out saying "I already paid for these, here's my receipt for proof".

It's only a heads up if people are going to the same store as you. Most clerks are either keeping the coupons/receipt or marking it off.

On the other hand since the only reason the promotion exists is to create foot traffic in the stores I don't think you are actually stealing anything from BBY. I've had multiple Managers and even the BBY Forum mods continue to say that the disc are been recycled/destroyed and are not being resold in any way.

Got two copies of the trilogy at my Best Buy this afternoon. Each for $4.99 after Upgrade & Save, awesome deal!

agreed. There is not a crazy discount. they pay less then then what we are paying per blu ray. That is why it's an instore promotion. the foot traffic. It's actually a good business move on their part seeing how Best Buy is doing this quarter. poorly,

why this didn't get FP before it died baffles me...three blu rays for $10, yet price mistakes get FPed all the time

If that's the case then why not just mark down every blu-ray the extra $5 and really get some foot traffic? Clearly they don't want every movie marked down for every customer. The sale prices alone for many of these movies is worthy enough but the additional $5 for bringing in a DVD is just icing on the cake
