What really annoys me is the fact that whenever gohastings has these coupon codes, all the good blurays suddenly become out of stock almost immediately after the start of the sale. But, the moment the sale ends, they're all in stock again!

I've had no problems in the past except for being charged shipping on every item purchased (books are the exception).

I've never purchased books (always OOS on the ones I want). Games and CD's have always been near mint to mint condition. I've bought maybe 20 items from them total.

Thanks, for $2-3 per book I think I'm gonna take my chances and go ahead and order.

I have purchased many books from GoHastings. Most are in excellent shape, what I suspect booksellers would call "good". I think in over 100 books, I've maybe had a few softcovers with that little wear mark on the very tip of the front cover which many books get when read or carried in a bag/purse for a while, etc. I've had one book with a couple of small stains (I suspect coffee), and it was I believe 80 or 90% off the list price, so I'm not complaining.

Oh, and, also, most of the books I ordered were in hardcover. I love hardcovers!

And yeah, the real savings here is the shipping. I only ever ordered used rare books in Amazon marketplace because they charge $3.99 for each book!

I can't believe I got Roberto Bolano's 2666 in hardcover for $2 yes! And The History of Love by Nicole Krauss also in hardcover (I read an excerpt of this book and I was instantly in love). Gramsci LOL and Yotsuba yay~

This was one deal that created "slickdeals madness", you know when you are saving so much money you still spend all kinds of time and money doing it?

I ended up placing a few orders totaling 53 good kids movies for when little 3 yr old twin grand babies wear me out, and 17 more regular / adult movies.

That took me forever, but will at least keep one of them entertained while I get even better playing and crashing cars with the other. That is high value for a grandma still in training, seems I forgot a lot of things....like playing and crashing cars and how much my house really isn't child proof any more!
