Poverty Levels on the rise

The Associated Press surveyed more than a dozen economists, think tanks and academics, both nonpartisan and those with known liberal or conservative leanings, and found a broad consensus: The official poverty rate will rise from 15.1 percent in 2010, climbing as high as 15.7 percent. Several predicted a more modest gain, but even a 0.1 percentage point increase would put poverty at the highest since 1965.




Obama has skyrocketed poverty more than any other President in decades. No surprise, erally.

This should be great news for all those who support Mr. Obama's "trickle-up poverty" programs. They are clearly working as planned. The more people dependent on the government to live the better his re-election chances are.

No, it was the result of 30 years of the Reagan Revolution.

Poverty under Reagan was far lower. The difference betwen Reagan and Obama is that poverty under Reagan was the same when he left as it was when he came in. Thus, some liberals just have to lie like this.


Someone has to come clean up the Obama revolution.
