Looks like they changed the packaging. Back when I bought it, it came in a big flat package, not dvd shelf friendly.

Ahh, some good ol NON PC Mel Brooks. I love these movies, it takes me away from the BS today and take me back to a simpler time where men didn't have vaginas.

I have only seen Spaceballs and Robin Hood so I got this set to see the others. Just put the above three DVDs on hold at my library to pick up after work Thursday (hopefully they will be ready for me by then).

Question...do any of these movies reference each other? If I watch them out of production order will I miss any jokes?

LOL., History of the World Part 1 is a family favorite of ours. First saw the movie in 1983 I believe. I was just a kid and went around asking video stores if they had part 2. Remember the ending when they say Coming Soon..See Hilter on Ice..Jews in Space..etc.. No one had it since it was just a joke.

Robin Hood, which you've already seen, had a few references to his other films. I can't recall any major ones in the rest. If you've only seen the two, I'd just go ahead and do production order just in case.

The 12 Chairs is one of his least known, buy truly hilarious movies. Trust me, make it one of the first ones that you watch in this set!

The hard cover book that comes with this is also really nice. My only complaint is the way the discs are held in the set, but that seems to be the norm with so many of these collections nowadays. Top notch set. I've owned it for a while. Picked it up from Fry's last year for $40 and thought it was a steal. This is just crazy hot!
