Not to crap the thread. But I notice that the motherboard has pretty bad review. Don't know if it's still a good deal.

Major caveat on this board. NO PCI SLOTS, the only PCI-express slot (the little short slot that is taking the place of PCI) looks like it is going to be blocked by a two slot graphics card in the first graphics slot, and the two graphics slots are 8 speed.

On to the negative reviews. You need two things to evaluate the significance of the ratings. A normative value (i.e. in motherboards what is the average number of one egg reviews), and a large enough statistical sample that outliers, i.e. one time you flip four tails in a row, become insignificant. With a total of 12 reviews, the sample size here is definitely too small. In addition, you have a very strong outlier. The same person posted one egg twice (he had to change names to put up the second post, but it is obviously the same person read below) and he was the only person having any fires, let alone the two he had. I am beginning to wonder exactly whose fault it was in this case, and that is half the one star ratings. Add in another MB that the packaging was mangled, and you are down to a single one star review. There is also a review reference the sound not working, which is still definitely not good, but it's a real problem if you are using 2 x 2 slot GPU's and have no available add-in slots.

I did a PSU test already and it is fine. The only thing left is the Mobo, after the other two catching on fire and then this one not working I'm ready for a different MOBO. And EVGA don't send me another one of these, at this point I expect you to send me at least the next best Mobo in your line that is compatible with my current parts. Thank you.

My main gripe about the board is the 8x PCIe 2.0 individual max speed. To take advantage of full graphical capabilities, that basically requires SLI, which of course takes up so much more space.
