Editing the wiki... errors that show up

I've been having trouble for awhile on my home machine (IE, XP machine).

I edit the printable wiki as a wikibee. I open two windows... One with the replies and the new window with the wikis in it. I copy from one and paste to the other.

If I bring up either window (and they've been open for awhile), I see the bottom corner of my screen stating DONE, refreshing probably once every other second. I didn't think that much about it until I try to back out of my reply (should go right back to the printable thread where I left from), but the list available from the back button has HUNDREDS of
http://view/atdmt.com/COM/iview/3885191
in the listing. (ie, you can't back up, you must click the navigation from the slickdeals.net line (below the black line above).
This also happens on the wiki edit screen, but to a less degree.

NOTE: I'm sometimes editing the reply for over an hour, as occasionally it takes that long to finish. Is this MY computer problem or a site problem? I think it's the latter, as I have this issue at work (also running IE and XP)

It's not just you... It's a site issue.

It's an issue with older versions of IE and the ads, I believe

I'm definitely XP IE8 at work... can't change this... Not allowed to change much at work without an administrator. I know I'm not allowed to download FF, Chrome or Safari at work.

I'll have to check at home, but I'm guessing they are the same.

ETA: Yep, XP and IE8 at home too.

So there's no fixing it?
