Even with shipping, great deals on these. I have the EC510, and it's a great compressor. These have more power and run longer between recycles.

Price seems ok, but I'm not seeing any great reviews on these.

Ec89 has slightly less power and can push 2.8 cfm @ 100psi. Ec119sa can push 3.0 cfm @ 90psi.

Bottom line: the ec119sa is slightly more powerful.

What's the advantage having twin tanks? does it switch to the full tank automatically when one gets near empty? or it just allows you to connect to 2 tools at a time?

Great price -- questionable reviews. I have had good results with some Hitachi products and others not so good.

Personally, I'd say go for the more expensive one hands down.

That 2nd coupler sounds dumb, but I've learned recently (putting in hardwood floors/stairs at home) that the 2nd coupler is great. Basically, I have a 100' hose for the air tools (I leave the compressor in the garage) and then I have a 50' hose on the 2nd coupler on my compressor to use for everything in the garage.

It sounds really petty to not want to swap out the hoses, but it's really nice to be able to blow sawdust off something or whatever and not swap hoses. My point is: That alone is worth $10 to me. Add in the additional power and it's a no brainer IMHO.

I paid around $150 for mine (pretty similar specs) at Costco. If I didn't own one already, I'd be all over the 119.

It's just more convenient than one big tank. The tanks are interconnected so the pressure is equalized between the two.
