I was really excited by the prospect of a new TD game, but I'm not sure I'm going to log too many hours on this one. Are the multiplayer ones a lot better than the single player? The controls are pretty awful (seemed like they designed that "ring" control for the towers with a tablet in mind, even though this a desktop game) and it's way too difficult to differentiate the upgraded vs not upgraded towers, let alone select a bunch of them.

You want a really, really good TD game -- look up Kingdom Rush.

I do kind of agree with you. But I do like how it combines tower defense with making your own attacking army. I have only played it twice but the big problem I have is that it seems like you can never make your army strong enough to get through your enemies towers. I mean I had all but the last type of unit and I had about 50% upgrades for them but they would just die after 10 or 15 towers. It seems okay just way to easy to defend. Am I missing something?

You need to buy the upgrades to your guys first... There are tactics...

like first launching a whole bunch of pepto guys.... then launch the others, because they will get more health along the way... also use the guy that speeds up your wave by 10%....


Yesterday I spent almost 3 hours in a single game.... We both completely maxed out our massive mazes... He saved up 12-15k coins and launched an army of motifiers... I still killed them all... I later launched a bunch of peptos then mortifiers.... still got killed, in the end he won....

Are they giving these out again?

Yep! Just got mine. Had to sign up for twitter and follow FraggedNation and Tower Wars and then ask for a key. Whole thing took a few minutes. Installing now.

Keys are back!
