I was really excited by the prospect of a new TD game, but I'm not sure I'm going to log too many hours on this one. Are the multiplayer ones a lot better than the single player? The controls are pretty awful (seemed like they designed that "ring" control for the towers with a tablet in mind, even though this a desktop game) and it's way too difficult to differentiate the upgraded vs not upgraded towers, let alone select a bunch of them.
You want a really, really good TD game -- look up Kingdom Rush. |

I do kind of agree with you. But I do like how it combines tower defense with making your own attacking army. I have only played it twice but the big problem I have is that it seems like you can never make your army strong enough to get through your enemies towers. I mean I had all but the last type of unit and I had about 50% upgrades for them but they would just die after 10 or 15 towers. It seems okay just way to easy to defend. Am I missing something? |

You need to buy the upgrades to your guys first... There are tactics... like first launching a whole bunch of pepto guys.... then launch the others, because they will get more health along the way... also use the guy that speeds up your wave by 10%.... Yesterday I spent almost 3 hours in a single game.... We both completely maxed out our massive mazes... He saved up 12-15k coins and launched an army of motifiers... I still killed them all... I later launched a bunch of peptos then mortifiers.... still got killed, in the end he won.... |
